About Us
Our mission is to create a useful resource for anyone and everyone to enable and foster a cultural shift to enable us to safely navigate broken institutional systems utilizing a women-centric perspective. We choose to bring a fresh perspective that has been silenced by different systems of beliefs and institutions of power for centuries resulting in the current imbalance across society and our planet. The purpose of our group is to break informational silos that hold all of us back. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join. The Founder of this platform draws inspiration from the national flower of Japan, the cherry blossom – or Sakura, which represents a time of renewal, optimism, and the brilliance, fragility, and transience of life.
How We Started
The founder of this platform started her journey as a cis-gender white Russian female with the inner voice of a little boy due to her unconventional and confusing upbringing. As she traveled from country to country and from corporation to corporation overcoming different obstacles, feeling undervalued and unappreciated, not given guidance when she needed it, or giving guidance and being dismissed while having her ideas implemented in different company visions, but being tossed aside and never given credit, she started feeling hopeless.

She expressed her concerns in her Linkedin posts, and they grew in popularity.

One day she woke up and saw at least 10 women resonating with her posts, facing the same obstacles and they asked for mentorship.

Some need leadership skills and mentorship because they are being dismissed or overspoken at work.

Some need technical/data science mentorship and are on the learning curve.

Some are looking for a job and being dismissed as incompetent despite having a Ph.D.

Some are Ph. Ds, some are bachelors, some are developers at Google and some are analysts.

Some are single mothers who are equally stretched to the limit.

Some are dealing with immigration issues.

Some were born here in the USA.

All races, ages, and nationalities.

So she decided to build this platform free for women and men who face difficulties to coach others on how to face and overcome difficulties that they face on a daily basis.

As she helped and educated more and more women, she noticed that women, men, and LGBTQ2S+ of all ages, classes, races, cultural and educational backgrounds faced sets of different societal problems, yet these problems could be classified into the same categories, and many of them are eliminated simultaneously: internally and externally and they all had the same pre-existing conditions. She started developing a system of subsystems with current unspoken and hidden rules and its dynamics to get to the multiple roots of the current obstacles and problems and transform them instead of applying short-term quick solutions that increased complexity and led to everyone's demise.

The purpose of our group is to learn from and teach each other to break informational silos that hold all of us back. Everyone facing obstacles that they are confused about how to overcome should join.
We do discuss sensitive and non-work-related topics that serve as our downfall in the workplace.

According to different original myths and their myth evolution, Prometheus brought fire (technology) to humankind and defied Gods. In return, Zeus send Pandora to punish Prometheus with a box that released all evils upon men and ended man’s Golden Age.

Pandora was originally married to Prometheus and in her jar, she had a “Catalog of Women” and her name meant “all-gifted”, “all-giving” and“she who sends up her gifts”.

Originally before being demonized by Greek ancient cultures, Pandora was a Goddess who rose from the Earth, she was the Earth, the giver of all gifts and bestowed all things necessary for life.

Her demonization led to a cultural shift in Greek society towards more male-dominated culture. This culture inspired Western philosophers and lawmakers for centuries resulting in current difficulties with the environment and gender imbalance in institutions of power.

Her demonization also led to the rise of Athena - the war Goddess to defend her, which led to conflicts.

In one of the AI aftermath scenarios, humans make AI into Boxed AI - Pandora's box to make it into a human slave if it becomes misaligned. To those of us who work on ML/AI projects is to learn here and then experiment with different balancing and thresholding methods, initial KPI systems, and values to prevent AI, just like women to be demonized and locked into an institutional or physical box.

We conduct weekly meetings on Saturdays with a structure of 20 mins tech and 20 mins soft, 20 mins answering questions/exchanging resources as they come up. The website is under development, all resources will be posted here, and all articles will be edited as we refine them.
